The Rubin

The Rubin is known for Himalayan and Eastern Asian art, exhibiting captivating pieces that insight awe and reflection. I like a good story, and the history is soaked into each and every work here. I did a great deal of googling while there to identify legends hidden away on the edges of tapestries and altars.

It's not a huge museum which makes it perfect for spending an hour or two in before grabbing a bite or exploring the city. It's only a few minutes by train from Penn Station and it's perfectly located to meander your way over to the High Line or further east towards Union Square.

*I also had my first date with my boyfriend here, and things are going just swimmingly, so I can't recommend the Rubin enough!
