Farewell Ursula K. Le Guin

Yesterday, Ursula K. Le Guin ceased to be a Living Legend, as the Library of Congress deigned her in 2000, and has transcended to take her place as an Indelible Legend, as one of the most insightful and innovative writers of the 20th century. I love her books. I devour the ethics projected by her characters, the innovative yet logical conception of fantastical worlds and existences. And then to delve into her lectures and interviews, to discover a firm progressive, equitable, kind, and humane woman at the root of it all who is not scared or intimidated to put forth her own thoughts and encourage us to do the same.

You will be missed Ms. Le Guin. Farewell and thank you for the good reads!
