And so I'll write a bit about the current standing of the nation.
A man, I respect on a human level in that all people deserve to be respected, for manners are the first step to justice, and I desire to assume that there are common human decencies that all must work in accordance to and follow-but on no other level (certainly not politically), has been elected president.
Beyond this practice of common decency, I cannot and do not abide to this man's in-comprehensive ideologies or vainglorious disposition. Trump's election is a baffling apparition of a nation I find I do not wholly understand. Within his first 10 days of office I have been terrified by his actions.
My hope is that those of us who value a nation of inclusive diversity, inclusive freedoms, inclusive rights-for all humans! Not merely all citizens-strive to understand our opposition and peacefully counter it with our knowledge and influence. To demonstrate that our new leader cannot lead by title alone. He must strive to lead with the consensus of the American people, all of us, not just those who voted for him but the entire citizenry. And when he chooses to ignore our concerns in an executive move of undemocratic hegemony, we will answer. We will demonstrate. We are not to be ruled, but governed at will. And to loose our will, is to loose your power.
We are here and this is our nation. We will continue to do our part to insight positive and peaceful change.
